The clock advanced the minutes like it should, but on a whim, I thought I'd eject the navigation DVD. I'll just stay tuned to this forum for now!ĪNOTHER UPDATE: When I went to go home from work, I powered on the unit, and it did reset itself back to 1:00 on. I'm thinking that the circuit board isn't the issue, and I passed on his suggestion that I bring it in, rather than pay for service for something that I don't really have the confidence that they would know what it is. UPDATE (one hour later): I just called my local Honda dealer's service department, and the service manager hadn't heard of this issue yet, and suspected it might be a software issue, or maybe a circuit board may have gone bad, and said that they can take a look at it. ![]() BTW, I have a 2007 Civic EX with the navigation system. I'm thinking a phone call to the local Honda dealer might be pointless as well, based on other comments I've seen here. I'll try to keep an eye on this subject in the forum as well. I'll keep an eye on the clock tonight and see whether it continues from the time it set itself to this morning, or resets itself back to 1:00 am on. I had to do a bit of creative Google searching to end up at this forum subject, because I had a sneaky suspicion that I might not be the only one affected by this issue. I guess the clock doesn't understand 20 years past its initial date? The clock never set itself from the GPS signal during the 25 minute commute to work. I just got into my car for the first time this year (4th Jan 2022), and found that my clock was displaying 1:00 am January 1, 2002. I did not bother to ask to a senior advisor.I'm glad I'm not the only one, then. Then they suggested I contact my vehicle vendor. It was obviously a heavily scripted call. They suggested I do all the above fixes and then told me I needed to re-install my iOS, which I will not do. ![]() I called Apple support and they were unusually not helpful with this bug. So, either my Land Rover software is not compatible with CarPlay in 14.6, or 14.6 has changes that are not backward compatible.or some serious bugs. I am at the latest version of the Land Rover software. I have done all of the suggested "fixes", hard restarted my phone with all apps killed and toggled Siri. the last audio message from my Nav plays on my iPhone internal speaker. I do get audio for Apple Music and Pandora like normal and the phone is working correctly.ġ) If I switch audio to my AirPods Pro, everything works as expected.Ģ) If I unplug my iPhone from the USB on the RRS. I get no audio for Google, Waze or Apple Maps, no sounds for any notifications, no keyboard clicks, etc. ![]() I am having the exact same problem with my iPhone12 Pro Max (14.6) in my Range Rover Sport SVR. I know in my past other cars, the voice prompts would play over bluetooth, and if listening to Sirius or FM radio, I would not hear the prompts, but the way I got around this was switching the audio source to "Bluetooth" and I could hear the navigation prompts. I have tried all of the below:ĥ) Checking navigation volume in Car settingsĦ) Checking navigation volume in google maps settingsĨ)Changing source of audio into car to "Bluetooth" They will not play, while there is no problem showing the google maps navigation on the screen. ![]() However, I have run into a problem with Google Maps navigation voice prompts. The apple car play for Apple Music/Reading Messages/Pandora/Siri all works very well. Unfortunately in my car, bluetooth Apple Car play connection is not available. Carplay and Google Maps not playing navigation prompts I have a 2017 Honda CR-V EX-L with Apple Carplay with iphone X connected by USB cord and linked to Honda Link via bluetooth.
